On May 14th at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, Dr. Neeru Gupta was recognized as an inaugural member of the Global SPECS Network. With 2.6 billion cases of myopia and 1.8 billion cases of presbyopia, this new WHO program was launched to address World Health Assembly mandates for quality, affordable, and people-centered refractive error services worldwide.
